BI-LINGUAL Diabetes Customer Service Specialist
Looking for Diabetes Customer Service Reps for an award winning Medical Device company in South Florida. These are contract to permanent opportunities, M-F, 8:30am-5pm, paying up $19/hr. Great opportunities!

MEDICAL LICENSE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION (LPN, CNA, EMT etc...)

SUMMARY
  • Responds to customer calls, assessing a customer's issue(s) and determine the most effective solution(s) to resolve customer's problems, troubleshoot product complaint calls
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide general technical consulting to customers distinguishing among diabetic meters, strips, controls, user handling and/or software issues in order to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Basic knowledge and experience with complaint handling, and understanding of adverse events related to glucometers
  • Must have demonstrated basic knowledge of diabetes and its impact on patient safety and risk
  • Document via computer all complaints, inquires or training requests when received either by phone, fax or mail
  • Escalate possible reportable complaints/adverse events and MDR s to the Post Market Compliance Group
  • Review each complaint/inquiry and categorize them following the complaint handling procedure
  • Follow up on all calls that require further customer training, proper use of meters and or user type related complaints
  • Must have excellent written, and oral communication skills
  • Good computer and typing skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum two years related experience and/or training (medical practice dealing with diabetic patients, laboratory experience) or equivalent combination of education and experience. LPN, CNA, Laboratory Technician, or EMT required.
  • Prior healthcare related call center experience is a plus
  • Heavy call volume experience
  • Bi-lingual: ENGLISH/SPANISH is highly preferred
