Qualified Applicant MUST HAVE: - laboratory systems administration or pharma regulations or validation documentation experience.

This role will be involved in the implementation of new solutions, testing, management, troubleshooting, and administration of new and legacy systems within a Pharmaceutical laboratory environment. It will involve working closely with Subject Matter Experts to define requirements, analyze and compare multiple systems for usability, strategize and implement data migration from legacy systems to new systems. This role will be involved in Test script authoring, review/approval and execution where necessary. Will work closely with Data Management function to determine the electronic foot print of laboratory data/records and information. Develop solutions to consolidate this data/records and information spread across multiple organizations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Executes day-to-day operational tasks.
- May perform software & server administrative tasks.
- Performs monitoring & control of global production environment.
- Supports application architecture based on standards & requirements.
- Responsible for business analysis activities in accordance with client systems development methodology and supporting projects within a specific portfolio area.
- Work independently or with other Portfolio associates to deliver small scale projects or deliverables for larger projects.
- Responsible for collecting, documenting, and confirming business requirements and functional specifications.
- Works in close collaboration with business partners and developers to ensure consistent understanding of business processes and requirements.
- Defines, develops, and delivers test plans and associated test case scenarios.
- Establishes effective relationships with IT departments; builds and maintains effective business partner relationships.
- Assists with tasks and deliverables related to System Development Life Cycle phases for package and custom solutions.
- Attends and participates in user and project meetings and teams to expand knowledge, as a participant and not in a lead capacity; facilitates project status meetings; tracks project status.
- Investigates and documents project issues and detailed requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience supporting client server as well as client-based laboratory data solutions such as Empower, ELN, LIMS, etc.
- Familiarity with supporting of Microsoft Windows operating systems in a multi-domain environment.
- Basic understanding of relation database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
