Must haves:
  • Must have an Active in-scope TOP SECRET Clearance
  • DoD 8570.01 IAT level II (or higher) compliant;
  • e.g. CompTIA Security+CE
  • MNIS networks experience
  • CCNA or higher
  • ITIL V3 Foundations certification (or the ability to obtain the certification within 90 days of start date)

Job Duties:
  • Design architecture to include software, hardware and communications to support total requirements, as well as, provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
  • Ensure network systems are compatible and compliant with standards for open systems architectures.
  • The Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models and profiles of standards (e.g. Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Open Systems Environment reference model) as they apply to the implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solution of the network layers, across the application program interface (API) and the external environment/software application.
  • Ensure that the network/transport layers of the common operating environment are compliant.
  • Evaluate analytically and systematically, problems of work flows and network usage, organization, planning and develop appropriate corrective action.
  • Establish network information requirements using analysis of Network Engineers in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure (CAN, MAN, WAN).
