RF Systems Engineer
Salary: $72/hr.
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Industry: Government/Defense
Employment Type: Long-term contract with the potential for permanent hire
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Qualifications:
- BS Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Radar and RF systems performance modeling experience.
- Experience developing/analyzing RF systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation.
- Experience with algorithm development, and signal processing.
- Active Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with the flow down of radar requirements to testable modular hardware and software.
- Demonstrate mastery of simulation and analysis tools. (MATLAB).
- Experience with SensorSim
- Experience with Electronic Warfare / Countermeasures (EW/CM).
Responsibilities:
- Signal Processing Systems Engineer to provide RF sensor design and analysis support for the Lower Tier Future Interceptor (LTFI) IRAD.
- Develop stabilization algorithm, create sensor models for flight simulation, analyze performance, and conduct off-nominal assessments and trade studies.
- Objectives include: Development of a representative LTFI seeker, Demonstrate hit to kill accuracy through flight test on PAC-3 MSE missile, Completion of tasks prior to RFP for inclusion, and Reuse current hardware/software interfaces to seeker to minimize development and integration risks
- Possible scope will include development of advanced seeker algorithms and assessment of advanced targets.
