  • Title: Senior Cyber Security Specialist

  • Job Duties:
    • Develop and maintain processes to protect the appropriate level of confidentiality, integrity, authenticity, and non-repudiation and availability of data and their deliver services as outlined in DOD 8500.2 for the Mission Assurance Category
    • Develop an IA program that address software and IT equipment security, subcontractor security, and surveillance plans. Notify the PEO Director of Security (or designee), CIO (or designee) and appropriate Program Security Officer if a breach has or may have occurred
    • Prepare and deliver the IA SOP (CDRL D008) and the IA status report (B035) with supporting POA&M
    • Recommend and provide measures and controls to protect the F-35 Program local and extended networks
    • Provide, review, and recommend changes to F-35 Program and DOD policies, procedures, and training
    • Serve as a security POC for the F-35 program network security-related issues
    • Develop the Intrusion Management Status Report (CDRL B037)
    • Demonstrated experience to develop solutions to problems relating to improvement of information assurance effectiveness, organizational structures, work methods and procedure efficiency, and resources requirements, utilization or control
    • Demonstrated experience in developing and drafting program or project milestones, progress monitoring, financial, acquisition, quality control, maintenance, or training documentation related to information assurance activities
    • Demonstrated experience in the use of automated management information systems in performing fact finding, analytical, and advisory functions related to information assurance activities
    • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of DIACAP policies and procedures
    • Demonstrated experience in FISMA compliance reporting
    • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides, and DOD Compliance scanning tools
  • The Selected Candidate must have:
    • Knowledge of the OSI model and TCP/IP networking, and basic knowledge of network and host exploitation techniques
    • Minimum of 10 years of information technology experience
    • Minimum of four (4) years experience with Windows OS platforms
    • Knowledge of systems configuration and management of firewalls, IDS, servers and work stations
    • Experience collecting data and reporting results; handling and escalating security issues or mergency situaitons appropriately; providing incidnent response capabilities to isloate and mitigate threats to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability for protechted data
    • Experience supporring external investigations
    • Good communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to listen, understand and translate client requirements
    • Ability to effectively manage conflict, and affect adequate solutions
    • Strategic planning skills, organizational skills, operating skills, and strong leadership
    • Knowledge in best practices and the use of IT methodologies
    • Ability to lead projects on varying scales, and work with technical teams on all levels and disciplines
    • Must understand business processes and have the ability to thoroughly understand the technology to address client s requirements

Required:
