Location: Tampa, FL

Hours: 1st Shift Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Salary: $18.00/hr-$25.00/hr

Overview:
This position is responsible for identifying and managing raw materials requirements to support production and scheduling all activities required to procure, release, and handle raw materials and finished product.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for determining and communicating demand for and availability of raw materials required for production.
  • Work with project managers and the Production Team to identify and aggregate demand for raw materials and other production related supplies.
  • Analyze trends as necessary and develop models to predict demand.
  • Generate and maintain the master data such as Bill of Material, safety stock, reorder points and order quantities in cooperation with Production, Material Management and Purchasing.
  • Enter appropriate information into SAP, including purchase requisitions, bills of materials, and process orders.
  • Frequently review and adjust due dates, quantities, and shipments as appropriate to meet production needs; ensure dates are communicated to and agreed with the supplier. Understand and adhere to all applicable cGMP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain material master schedule, including procurement, receipt, and testing and release of raw materials and shipment of finished product.
  • Identify, mitigate and escalate appropriately any issue that interferes with availability of material for production.
  • Support continuous improvement of materials management processes. Analyze metrics such as forecast accuracy and on-time delivery, determine root causes behind variances and communicate and take corrective action
  • Serve as backup when needed to the Master Planner

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, logistics or related field
  • Ideally looking for 2 years industry related experience within supply chain/procurement, logistics, etc. Will consider recent college graduates looking for their first corporate position. The ideal candidate may have completed in an internship as well.
  • Knowledge of SAP strongly preferred or related system
  • Ability to process and manage large amounts of information and comfortable with complexity
  • Ability to interpret standard operating procedures and protocols and understand and adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Ability to measure forecast accuracy and determine root causes for variances
  • Ability to specify actions that contribute to the continuous improvement of key performance indicators
  • Excellent communication, leadership, project management and relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Strong communication, computer and organizational
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with varying timelines and priorities
