Title: CAD Operator
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Hours: Day Shift - 8 AM - 4:30PM
Salary: $33.00 hour paid weekly (Benefits Available)

The CAD Operator provides support to the business as a technical resource for the administration and control of Engineering drawings in compliance with company and departmental SOPs in a cGMP environment. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, MS Office applications is required. The individual will work in a fast-paced, safety-oriented, team environment and must have a working knowledge of site Documentation Systems. The position requires solid technical CAD skills. The individual will be required to provide status updates to the Senior CAD Operator and Maintenance Manager to help prioritized workload and support site projects in a professional manner.
Responsibilites may include:
Executes routine CAD work assignments including EDCR processing, creation of Engineering sketches, assignment of PID component and equipment numbers, review of procedures for the control of Engineering documents. Responsible document types: PIDs, piping isometrics, Turnover packages, other drawing disciplines (Electrical, Regulatory, Architectural, HVAC)
Responsible for maintaining current training on all related aspects of job
Revise and maintain externally generated engineering drawings associated with Engineering projects and integration of these drawings into the system. Required to work with contract CAD personnel as required
High School Diploma or Equivalent)
Minimum of 3 years experience in a related design or documentation management position
Technical School Certificate Program (CAD or equivalent)
AutoCAD software (recent version), Computer literacy (spreadsheets, databases), familiarity with PIDs, piping isometrics, architectural layouts
Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite are required.
Experience in Bio-Tech industry or similar industry preferred.
