  • Salary: $75,000-$90,000
  • Employment Type: Contract with possible extension

The Cyber Systems and Tools Analyst is a member of the team responsible for the execution of system administration related activities to ensure that information systems are designed, implemented and operating in accordance with Customer requirements, best practices and Federal and State laws and regulations. The Systems and Tools Analyst will collaborate and provide technical guidance with the Operations, Internal IT, and Product Management teams to support critical applications and tools used to provide services to customers.
The Systems & Tools Analyst is responsible for managing, administering, troubleshooting and integrating the company's tools and applications which are used to provide services to our clients. These applications include Security Incident Management, Network Management, Orchestration and Remediation, IT Service Management, and other related products used to provide service to customers. This role includes responsibility to create scripts and code to support and improve these applications and their integrations.
  • Experience with SIEMs, and/or advanced analytics technologies.
  • Understanding of security event analysis and intrusion detection (IDS/IPS Incident response, triage, incident analysis, and remediation.)
  • Strong Experience in Python and other script based programming languages.
  • Mild Experience in Jinja2.
  • Mild Experience in data structures, database management/maintenance.
  • Strong Experience in some form of machine/software automation, API and REST-Based Interfaces.
  • Cyber Security Incident Response Experience / Knowledge / Plans Architecture.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Principle knowledge of JS, CSS browser-based application construction.
  • Understanding of Linux based operating systems.
  • Understanding of network protocols and experience diagnosing connection-related issues and API protocols.
