Security Engineer, Systems Engineer, Network Security Analyst, Software Engineer

Job Duties:
  • Work with teammates to perform firewall maintenance, configuration, incident resolution and troubleshooting support for multiple security and network products/applications including installation of new hardware and software
  • Solve problems relating to computer devices, network topologies, and security hardware and software
  • This is a fast-paced work environment, must be willing to face new challenges.
  • Provides technical support and assistance with client specialists that plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and multiple vendors to isolate software and hardware issues.
  • Develop Security procedures for possible cyber security events
  • Apply software and hardware standards in the analysis, specification, development, integration, and acquisition of network security systems for Information Technology (IT) applications.
  • Participate in multiple boards and provide technical reviews of new designs prior implementation.
  • Review customers requests for new products, services, or additions to the network and assess impact on network performance and provide advice and guidance on the most practical technical approach to meeting customers requirements
  • Must have active TS SCI Polygraph required
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Network Systems Technology or related field or equivalent experience plus eight (8) to twelve (12) years of directly related experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certifications.
  • Experience with Palo Alto; Force Point Sidewinders; and CISCO ESA/WSA/SMA
  • Required: 5-7 years of network security appliance experience, managing, upgrading, and troubleshooting security and/or network products
  • Required to be on-call rotation
  • Able to demonstrate experience with enterprise LAN environments with multiple firewalls from multiple vendors; and solve problems relating to computer devices, network topologies, and security hardware and software.
  • Mandatory Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint).
  • Desired qualifications: Applicant should have working knowledge of DNS implementation and troubleshooting. Palo Alto Accredited Configuration Engineer. Cisco CCNA (network or security) or CCNP. CISSP
