Title: Formulation Development Technician
Location: Tampa, FL
Industry: Pharmaceutical
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Salary: $28.00/hr.-$34.00/hr. depending on skillset
Employment Type: Contract up to 6 months

Overview:
Work cross functionally within the department to provide routine testing to support the successful completion of various projects.
  • Set up, operate equipment, monitor processes, and report production in written and electronic documents in accordance with good documentation procedures (GDPs)
  • Disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of laboratory equipment
  • Maintain accurate records for training, laboratory notebooks, and data sets
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the development work space
  • Disposal of pharmaceutical waste (powders, dosage forms, solution preparation, etc.)
  • Assist in operation of laboratory equipment as assigned and supervised by Formulation Research Scientists / Team leader
Requirements
  • Proven logic and decision making abilities, critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Must be effective and efficient operating independently or in a team environment
  • Able to respond to changing priorities and handle multiple projects at a time.
  • Must be able to work additional hours/days as business needs dictate
  • Should have a good sense for attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and execute complex task
  • Bachelors degree in chemistry or related field
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Self-motivated and have a strong passion for Science and interest for Pharmaceutical R&D
