The company s products and services include active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), stem cell therapies, drinking water sanitizers, vitamin B compounds, organic personal care ingredients, industrial preservatives and microbial control solution to combat viruses, bacteria and other dangerous pathogens.

Job Summary:

In this challenging and highly dynamic HR role, you will be responsible for supporting the defining and executing of HR projects with the goal of supporting our expanding site in Houston, Texas. Several of the HR projects will be leveraged and implemented at our other locations in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the Netherlands and Singapore. Our site in Houston will be your primary focus and it is the largest site of the Cell & Gene Technology business unit. You will liaise with the HR Site Head in Houston and the Global HR Business Partner for CGT primarily as well as with HR colleagues at the other CGT sites. Your efforts will be focused on initiatives such as employee and leadership development, employee engagement, talent attraction, communication, and other projects as needed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Together with business leaders and BU HRBP`s you will support and drive a variety of projects supporting the growing site and increasing retention; may include
  • Onboarding of technical talent
  • Leadership assessment
  • Employee engagement including surveys, focus groups and stay interviews
  • Develop leaders including behavioral interviewing, positive employee relations
  • Support leaders in developing their technical teams
  • Outlining and implementing career paths
  • Identifying and supporting development of technical talents by leaders
  • Creation of internal rotational programs to develop technical talents
  • Mentor program
  • Diversity & Inclusion programs
  • Communication and alignment including newsletters, town halls and other messaging
  • Owning analytics and reporting including effectiveness of programs implemented
Key requirements:
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field of study is preferred
  • Extensive and broad HR experience across multiple areas of specialization and cultures with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience delivering impactful solutions to complex business problems in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Able to drive actions to resolution in a complex matrix organization
  • Agile and pragmatic thinker with ability to exercise good judgment to make decisions without full understanding of all relevant facts in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and diplomatic behavior
  • Ability to foster relationships at all levels
