Manage automation functions in the office; the first line-of-contact for all hardware, software, and telecommunication problems in the office, troubleshooting duties, and evaluating, analyzing, and coordinating automation operations to efficiently support office functions with available equipment. Conduct on-site LAN/WAN hardware diagnostics for infrastructure cabling and hardware such as router, Wi-Fi, switches, servers, mobile devices, laptops, iPads, personal computers (PCS), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems and printers.
  • Regular review of IT SOPs to ensure consistency with the practices guiding IT governance in the GxP environment.
  • Design, implement and maintain SQL databases and the application interfaces to data.
  • Design and deploy queries and reports in a PowerBI environment.
  • As needed train or supervise others to train, office employees on software, hardware and automation operations.
  • Supports Virtualized environments whether cloud-based or on-premise for servers and desktops utilizing Windows operating systems, maintaining user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
  • Responds to help desk tickets, telephone calls, emails and personnel requests for technical support.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within IT industry standards and pharmaceutical environments.
  • strong analytical skills to diagnose problems (hardware, software, network, etc.) and determines appropriate solutions.
  • Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals and stays current with system information, changes and updates.
  • Maintains accurate hardware and software inventory and prepares periodic help desk activity report
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • CISA Certified Information Systems Auditor, MCSE Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, CCIE Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert certifications are highly desired
  • NAV and ERP systems would be very helpful
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate written and orally.
  • Independently communicate with other departments, suppliers, consultants and corporate IT as necessary.
  • Three to Five years advanced knowledge and hands-on experience of operating systems, networking devices, application development, user access controls and Industry Regulatory compliance requirements:
