Job Duties:
  • Industrial engineer is responsible to identify and eliminate wastefulness in production processes. The role of I.E. is to suggest improvements where ever required and to devise efficient systems integrating resources like workers, machines, materials, information, and energy to make a product or provide a service.
  • Review processes and conduct Process & Time studies for improvement
  • Demonstrate structured problem solving using root cause analysis/ why-why analysis or other scientific techniques for problem solving
  • To provide better solutions for station design from ergo point of view
  • Regular ergonomic check for existing equipment and optimization for failed station
  • Work station and environment optimization for operators/technicians
  • Continuously improve line balance rate for production line
  • Layout design & planning and shop floor layout management on daily basis
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • Waste identification & elimination
  • Review and reduce remake factor
  • Establish, educate practice 6 Sigma & Lean philosophy in lab.
  • Other duties as assigned as per business requirement

  • Bachelor s degree in industrial engineering or degrees in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering technology, or general engineering.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high volume environment.
  • Must have excellent prioritization skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must read, write and communicate in English as it relates to this position and safety.
  • Must have intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, & Excel.
