Title: Jr. Production Planner
Location: Miami, FL
Industry: Pharmaceutical/Nutraceutical
Hours: M-F, 8am-5pm
Salary: $40,000-$55,000

Responsibilities
  • Support management of status of raw material availability that are needed for production, tracks progress of production, work-around solutions when necessary.
  • Generate material requirements for the production plans per product.
  • Develop, plan and establishes production schedules based on customer orders with input from Sales, Purchasing and Operations, in a timely manner.
  • Researches to determine if specific product has been previously manufactured for customer and ensures a current production master is available.
  • Maintenance of an accurate Work Order Book so system can be used to identify when products are schedule to run, and shipments are schedule to occur
  • Daily follow up with QC for Raw Material and Finish goods release status.
  • Coordinates shipping to use full truck loads when possible and confirms with management if LTL freight is needed for an on time delivery to customer.
  • Maintains close working relationship with Purchasing, Warehousing, Technical Services, Quality Control, Quality Assurance; communicates any delays in the process to management for resolution.
  • Gives support to other departments within Supply Chain to achieve common goals.
  • Writing SOPs and manages KPIs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-5 years in a GMP production/manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food/beverage)
  • Strong analytical, financial acumen, including measurement of KPIs
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of cGMP, FDA regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Buying and/or purchasing raw materials, packaging components, etc. experience within FDA regulated environment is a huge plus
  • Minimum AA/AS degree
  • Effective communication in English written and oral
  • Strong planning and organizing skills, attention to details, able to multi-task
  • Knowledge of Supply chain fundamentals (ERP, MRP)
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; good problem solving skills
