Maintenance Administration Manager

Salary: $55k-$62k
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Employment Type: Contract to hire
Industry: Department of Defense
Clearance: Secret Clearance (required active)

Required Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree with a major study in business, maintenance management, logistics or a related field
  • In lieu of degree / formal education, 18 years of related experience.
  • Must have held USMC MOS of 0402 / 0411/ 1310 / 1120 / 3510 / 2805
  • Experience using GCSS-MC System
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and direction to improve Marine Corps military equipment readiness, maintenance quality performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversight, support and ensure compliance of the eight functional areas of Maintenance Management IAW Marine Corps Policies and Maintenance Management Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Analyze and interpret Global Combat Support Systems Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) data to identify maintenance status, trends, and process deficiencies.
  • Lead and coordinate activities of subordinates and cross-functional teams.
  • Evaluate and analyze current processes to foster continuous improvement and implement new processes and procedures as required.
  • Analyze tasks to determine the resources and skills required to accomplish chartered work and provide technical direction as required.
  • Establish performance goals and objectives and conduct performance evaluations; salary planning actions and interpret and apply organization policies.
  • Coach and motivate team members and provide career development and training for subordinates.
  • Establish program objectives, work plans, schedules, and ensure resources are available for completion of complex technical projects.
  • Provide coordination with other groups to accomplish task outside normal areas of responsibility.
  • Participate in the department strategic planning process and support development of plans to ensure appropriate skills are available when needed.
  • Facilitate meetings and technical presentations.
  • Act as Primary customer interface for specific Logistics related operational issues.
