SRG is hiring for a Technical Program Manager with previous NATO experience to support one of the nations largest employers in an international Bi-Strategic Command Directive.

Job Description:

This position will support the following objectives:

Technical and operational architecture management (TOAM) Technical Services
  • Provide the programme with a comprehensive and accurate set of architectural data to support programme governance and requirements management.
  • Provide projects with procedures, tools, and guidance to enable consistent and effective use and generation of technical and operational architectural documentation.

Quality Management (QM) Management Services
  • Provide measurable evidence that accurate results are delivered that meet stakeholders quality expectations across the BI-SC AIS and NGCS programmes and its Projects.
  • Contribute to a continuous process of quality improvement.
  • Quality feedback will be provided to CP teams, Integrated Programme Steering Group (IPSG), Programme Management Group (PMG) and stored in a programme level repository. Quality reports will be raised for action at the programme level if programme milestones are deemed to be adversely impacted.
  • Quality assessment of the PMO s own activities will be conducted internally every 12 months.

  • University degree in electronics engineering or computer science or telecommunications or information systems and technology or another equivalent or closely related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years in project management of communications or information systems integration, implementation or operation, using PRINCE2 or PMI methodology
  • Minimum 3 years in deriving system-level requirements from architectural guidelines and project objectives supporting implementation
  • Minimum 2 years in quality management in projects and programmes
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English as defined in STANAG 6001 (3333) or demonstrate native English speaker background
  • Demonstrated working level knowledge with MS Office tools (Outlook, Project, Word, Excel and Power Point, Share Point)
  • Minimum 1 year within last 15 years in working in NATO or in one of 28 Nations national military in defining military operational requirements and operational acceptance at project or programme level

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge about C3 capability management in NATO
  • Knowledge about programme management and programme management office
  • Knowledge about Database development and use
  • Knowledge about ITIL and Agile for project management
  • Knowledge about NATO CIS architectures, AIS and NGCS capabilities
  • Knowledge about IBM DOORS, DOORS NG, Team Concept
  • Knowledge about project management in complex systems or projects in a military Communication and Information Systems environment
  • Experience in effective orally and in writing communication, including briefing and in coordination with international stakeholders
  • Knowledge about NATO at project level within capability package process
