Customer Service/Patient Care Coordinator

We are currently hiring several Patient Care Coordinators for temp-to-hire positions in Murray, KY.

Salary: $10-11/hour depending on education and experience

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Candidates must be able to pass a drug and background check
  • 2-5+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience with medical equipment/administrative record management and/or healthcare is strongly preferred
  • Excellent phone etiquette; Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to customers
  • Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listen and gain clarification; Respond well to questions
  • Ability to write clearly and informatively; Present numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexibility and able to multitask and adapt in a fast-faced environment

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for contacting locations and working in conjunction with them in the scheduling of 36-60 month CAP patients.
  • Will ensure tickets are opened in the location and confirm all aspects of the delivery is done.
  • Will work directly with patients when necessary.
  • Work extensively in e-Intake and IMBS as needed.
  • Coordinates with patients and locations on all necessary reorders through e-Intake.
  • Verifies orders are complete and accurate.
  • Maintains accuracy and quality control throughout patient contact and inputs accurately.
  • Accurately transcribes patient profile over telephone.
  • Certain functions require outbound calling and data entry.
  • Communicate effectively with location employees, patients and referral sources both verbally and in writing to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned
