  • Hours: Monday-Friday; 20 hours between 9:00 am 3:00pm
  • Salary: $16.00 hour paid weekly with benefits options

Job Scope:
  • Performs Cleaning Verifications Swabbing, extraction and analysis.
  • Executes testing procedures for the identification and characterization of raw materials, stability and finished products - Techniques include, not limited to: HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, particle size, trace metals, FT-IR and dissolution
  • Analyzes data, documents results, and maintains laboratory documentation according to cGMP and internal guidelines
  • Communicates results in written and oral presentations and logs results into database as required
  • Helps in writing procedures, specifications and test methods
  • Performs parallel review of laboratory documentation
  • Participates in assigned improvement projects
  • Individual has two workstations and time is split between an analytical laboratory where the noise level is low to moderate and an office cubical
Skills Needed:
  • College student who has successfully completed at least 2 years including chemistry/organic chemistry classes
  • Passion and the desire to learn
  • Ability to learn and retain technical information
  • Proactive to address work issues at the individual level
  • Executes routine laboratory procedures and methods with high quality
  • Mathematical and scientific reasoning ability
  • Ability to operate assigned laboratory equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to collaborate with peers
  • On an average 4 hour day this position requires the ability to walk, sit and stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms at or above shoulder height and below waist height, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear, smell and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Specific vision requirements including reading of written documents, visual inspection of materials and use of computer monitor screen frequently
  • May require the use of a respirator
