QC Raw Materials Scientist

  • Hours: Mon - Fri - 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Salary: $34hr (Paid Weekly - Benefits Available)
  • Employment Type: 6 Month Contract

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

Perform compendial or other wet chemistry testing as per the material specifications.
Strong background in wet chemistry and instrumentation.
Expertise in Instrumentation techniques: HPLC, FTIR, UV, KF, wet chemistry etc
Follow GMP process and Lab procedures and SOPs
Assist other Scientists, as necessary for timely project completion and support other lab personnel as required.
Perform Opex activities, data trending, SOPs revisions, as assigned.

Specific duties and responsibilities
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis requires in-depth evaluation of factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices.
With supervision, carries out analytical activities in support of the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products under supervision of other scientists in the department.
Strong background in Wet Chemistry and instrumentation.
Raw Material testing
API Testing
Wet chemistry techniques
Experience with GMP and ICH regulations

Education & Experience :
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related discipline; 4-6 years experience
