Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Minimum 4 years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment
- High-volume staffing experience required.
- Work experience in a challenging, government contracting environment.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization to successfully manage customer relationships.
- Strong business acumen, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and customer service skills required.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems strongly desired.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Must have the ability to learn new software and navigate the internet with ease.
- Internet recruiting skills and experience
Duties:
- Successfully manage a high number of requisitions on a weekly basis and fill positions with quality candidates in a timely manner
- Creatively identify qualified candidates through a variety of recruiting sources including, but not limited to the internal Applicant Tracking System, internet sources, professional associations, and internal and external job fairs
- Prequalify and submit a diverse slate of candidates to hiring managers for further consideration/selection for interview process.
- Manage candidate activity through the applicant tracking system and/or resume database.
- Maintain metrics related to the recruitment function.
- Leverage strong communication/collaboration skills to build strong cross-functional partnerships to support the business demands effectively.
- The position may require overtime including weekend hours and periodic travel both CONUS & OCONUS.
- Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates to meet customer demands.
- Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates for direct hire opportunities.
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Meet with hiring managers to discuss staffing needs.
- Interview prospective employees for positions by advertising, direct contact, employee referrals, research organizations, employment agencies, and job fairs
- Refer applicants to particular job openings, coordinates pre-employment screening activities.
- Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
- Displays core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer and client relationships and network.
