  • Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:00am 5:00pm
  • Salary: $16.00/hr.-$18.50/hr. hour paid weekly with benefits options
  • Employment Type: Up to 6 month contract with possibility to go perm
Environment: This opportunity is with a leading provider of advanced technologies and outsourced services for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and consumer health industry. We develop, manufacture and package pharmaceutical and other products for customers worldwide. Among its core offerings, develops and manufactures oral and sterile pharmaceuticals in nearly all major dosage forms, and offers proprietary technologies used in many well-known prescriptions and over-the-counter products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The position will be both equally split working in an office environment and within a cGMP laboratory. One will not be responsible for physical testing, rather supporting the Analysts who conduct testing which may include Dissolution, Flame Atomic Absorption, Polarimetry, Loss on Drying, Viscosity, Residue on Ignition, Heavy Metal Content, FTIR, HPLC, and GC.
  • Responsible for releasing samples to various departments depending on needs
  • Data entry, Inspection of products, test results, and appropriately maintaining computerized documentation of required information
  • Maintain accurate written records of all analysis performed. Accurately interpret and effectively communicate analytical results and issues.
  • Schedule daily tasks in an organized and efficient manner. General knowledge of the use and operation of basic laboratory equipment. Calibrate and maintain lab equipment and instrumentation.
  • Write SOPs on an as needed basis
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have minimum Associates Degree, but Bachelors Degree preferred in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or Life Sciences
  • Minimum 2 years of related GMP experience is highly desired
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer Savvy (MS Office, Word, Excel and software s)
  • Be able to lift up to 40lbs
