SharePoint UI/UX Designer Able to obtain public trust

Position Description:
Successful candidate must have experience implementing rich user experiences using SharePoint 2016 or later. Experience must include creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. Must be able to work with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and validate Web-based user interfaces. Must demonstrate an excellent understanding of HTML 5 & CSS 3 as related to creating SharePoint master pages and visually unique SharePoint experiences. Responsibilities includes the following:
  • Collaborate with customers to assess the current state for usability.
  • Redesign the site for improved accessibility and usability.
  • Analyze and document current state
  • Identify and document functional and technical gaps and deficiencies
  • Identify all customizations that shall be converted to use out of the box functionality
  • Provide recommendations for the To-Be state
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer
  • Strong SharePoint 2016 (or later) skills using Out of The Box SharePoint components including site templates, content types, master pages, page layouts, etc.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JavaScript, front-end frameworks (Bootstrap), AJAX, JSON, jQuery, AngularJS, CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
  • Expertise with responsive cross-browser and cross-platform design, mobile experience, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), color theory, graphic design, mockups and prototyping, testing / debugging and building from concept to deployment.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Act as an expert advisor to the customer in all aspects of SharePoint UI/UX and be able to recommend technical solutions to customer s requirements based on past experience on the subject matter.
