Senior Electronics Technician (TS/SCI Required)

Salary: $80k-$120k+
Location: APG, MD
Type: Permanent Placement

  • AA or 2yr Tech School and 5 years experience OR HS/GED with 10 years experience

Job Duties:
  • Used failure analysis tools and techniques for data extraction on sensitive microelectronics
  • Applied advanced data recover techniques to mobile phones, SIM cards, and memory devices
  • Provided forensic data exploitation of mobile phones, SIM cards, and memory devises
  • Raw hex data analyses identifying memory regions and recovering data of interest
  • Reverse engineering of electronic circuit boards, schematics and components
  • Developed new tools and techniques for side-channel analysis of microelectronics
  • Research and development of new procedures, tools, and processes
  • Isolated equipment and system faults and errors identified hardware components or operating system and software that may be the source of the problem
  • Reverse engineered electronic assemblies
  • Maintained and repaired SHF, UHF, VHF, and HF radios, RADAR and other electronic systems
  • Managed equipment calibration, and maintenance cycles
  • Performed routine software and firmware updates
  • Planned, operated, tested, and maintained RF communication networks
  • Provided process documentation
  • Researched and monitored technical developments in industry and academia
  • Identified electronic components visually or by operation characteristics and research their manufacturer specifications
  • Supervised and trained junior technicians in maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to the component level.
  • Supervised and coordinated deployment of equipment loads supporting Presidential and Vice-Presidential trips
  • Led 4 to 8-member technician teams installing RF infrastructure worldwide
  • Provided technical training and supervision to 6 team members on laser ablation, plasma etch, micro-probing, optical FI, and microscopy techniques and procedures
