Position Summary:
  • You will manage the development and new product launch projects with 3rd party manufacturing and packaging partners for our new products to insure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary operations liaison with 3rd party project teams and technical transfer:
  • Set up and lead the teams to manage projects with the 3rd party partners to develop, file, and launch products.
  • Develop partnerships by building relationships and contacts at the sites. Quantitative and qualitative qualifiers with level of complexity of the project (budget, volumes, technology and CMO).
  • Convey and monitor compliance with company s performance and quality standards, as well as any other special requirements
  • Set up and lead Teams which will direct and coordinate activities associated with the transfer of manufactured and packaged products to/from 3rd party sites.
  • Oversee the resolution of technical problems as they arise with outside partnerships.
  • Work with the Supplier Relationship Manager, to ensure that suppliers are aligned to the latest strategic initiatives and adhere to the appropriate business, technical, and quality agreements
  • Insure NPI and Transfers Excellence Utilize Tools, Systems, Templates and Established Guidelines/Best Practices for Project Methodologies when reporting ~ Milestones, Status, Issues, Risks, CAPEX, OPEX, Potential Cost Savings
  • Lead activities post-ANDA submission but and provide support to R&D PM in development, pre-ANDA activities.

  • BS degree in a Scientific, Technical or Business discipline
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years supply chain experience or plant operations experience in a regulated pharma or OTC pharma environment, including operations project management experience
  • Experience working within CDMO or CMO environment
  • Strong influence and communication skills are a must
  • Experience managing a team and processes
  • Experience with technical transfer
