  • Title: Warehouse Logistics Specialist
  • Location: Malvern, PA
  • Industry: Pharmaceutical
  • Hours: Monday-Friday; 40 hrs/wk between 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Salary: Up to $20.00 hour based on experience
  • Employment Type: Contract 6 months with possible extension

Overview:

Under the indirect supervision, this individual will facilitate the movement of all incoming and outgoing of materials, including any supporting paperwork ensuring all is in compliance with all cGMP / Quality Assurance / Safety policies and procedures as mandated by CMTI s written procedures.
Main Duties:
  • Completing documentation specific to shipping and receiving materials
  • Participate in client audits and visits when requested
  • Maintain the entire warehouse in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Facilitate the removal of empty used drums, and bad skids
  • Assist in the development of procedures for cGMP / Safety compliance of warehouse space.
  • Maintain a working relationship with the various departments inside CMTI.
  • Responsible for sampling all products as required by CMTI s written procedures
  • Movement of samples from warehouse area to lab for analysis in support of micronization activities.
  • Movement of materials to and from air lock(s) in support of micronization activities.
  • Responsible for the completion of daily logs specific to the warehouse.
  • Responsible for maintenance of forklift, including daily checklist.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and general maintenance of the warehouse
  • Complete IATA/DOT certification in order to legally ship hazardous materials both internationally and domestically.
  • Provide clients with requested information regarding shipments or receipts of material.
  • Convey a collaborative and positive attitude when interacting with colleagues and clients
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes/efficiency while accounting for safety, quality, delivery and cost
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior warehouse experience within a GMP environment; pharmaceutical or related preferred; shipping, receiving, inventory, etc.

  • Basic Math Skills
  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Computer skills (Oracle, MS Office)
  • Some material handling
  • Keyboard/data entry/computer aptitude
  • Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to wear a respirator and pass the required respiratory medical exam
