Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transactions are properly recorded
- Prepare, submit, and track government and customer invoices with required supporting documentation
- Review and interpret federal contracts, task orders, and contract modifications
- Apply indirect cost rates and burdens to direct costs in accordance with contract requirements
- Post and reconcile assigned Accounts Receivable vouchers in a timely manner
- Support program managers and contracts teams with billing and financial data requests
- Collaborate with accounting staff to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance
- Support internal and external audits and respond to information requests
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required (Bachelor s degree preferred)
- 4+ years of professional accounting experience
- Government contract accounting experience with a focus on billing and accounts receivable
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint
- Experience with SharePoint preferred
- Familiarity with WAWF and/or IPP is a plus
