A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Technician

Salary: $38-39/hour

Location: Windsor Locks, CT 06096

Industry: Aviation

Shifts: Mon-Thurs, 6AM to 4:30pm; Mon-Thurs, 3PM to 2:30AM; or Fri-Sun, 7AM to 7:30PM

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A&P License required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience either on: aircraft, fixed wing or rotary or Military aircraft.
• 3-5 years of corporate experience required.
• Challenger or Global experience.
• Prior MRO experience.
• Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
• Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status.
• Own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools
• Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
• Ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays
• Possess basic PC skills
• Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (If applicable)

Job Duties:

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Work directly with clients to help them find solutions.
• Assist in creating a world-class transportation experience for our client s elite customers, while continuously pushing boundaries of sustainable aviation.
