Job Description
Avionic Technician
Hourly: $32 - $38/hr
Location: Greenville, SC
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available
Industry: Government/Defense
Employment Type: Long-term contract with potential for permanent employment
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree or High School Diploma needed.
- At least 6+ years avionics experience on fighter aircraft, preferably F-16s.
- Must have Flightline experience.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Must be able to work either shift:
- 1st Shift Mon-Thurs 5:30am-4pm
- 2nd Shift Mon-Thurs 3pm-3am
Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of duties in the Avionics, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or system check for aircraft delivery.
- Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Performs Avionics testing, Wire Routing, and System checks on F-16 aircraft prior to delivery.
- Performs adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
