Job Description
Maintenance Technician
Hourly: Up to $80/hr.
Location: Fort Bragg, NC (Fully Onsite)
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday
Industry: Government/Defense
Employment Type: 6-month contract to potential full time employment
Clearance: Active TS/SCI required
Summary: Bio-med specialist to enhance readiness, reliability, maintainability, and supportability for both operational and institutional medical activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of experience working on medical and/or biomedical equipment or relevant experience.
- Experience with Life Cycle Sustainment Management (LCSM)
- Experience servicing and maintaining medical equipment
- Experience with inspection and preventative maintenance of Bio-Med equipment
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Servicing and maintaining all medical equipment with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, digital, optical, and radiological principles.
- Perform calibrations and preventive maintenance, inspect equipment for serviceability, perform operational checkout procedures, troubleshoot and isolate malfunctions, replace and repair defective components, install medical equipment considering power and space requirements, and record all services performed into JLDW.
- Management and logistical support of medical devices and systems that contribute to life support and patient safety.
- Supervise the technical and tactical performance of biomedical equipment specialists and medical supply specialists ensuring adherence to best practices in medical device safety, operation, and security.
- Subject matter expert in the development of technical requirements and the procurement processes of medical devices/systems.
- Serves as a technical consultant to Commanders and the staff of organizations in the enterprise.
