Calibration Technician

Salary: $18-20/Hr.

Location: Olathe, Kansas 66061

Industry: Defense/Engineering

Employment Type: 7 month assignment with potential for permanent employment

Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm

Requirements:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
• Ability to lift 10-15lbs with minimal repetitions. Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal
• This employer requires all employees, temporary labor, consultants, and contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Calibrates instruments to meet established conformance standards.
• Tests instrument accuracy and make adjustments as necessary.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
