Job Summary:
Join our supportive team as a Customer Service Representative helping patients with durable medical equipment and respiratory supplies. You'll handle patient intake, insurance verification, and customer service while working closely with referral sources, billing, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with patients, referral sources, and coworkers to ensure smooth service
- Verify insurance coverage (Medicare, Medicaid, private plans)
- Process and organize patient files, billing documents, and delivery records
- Assist walk-in customers with equipment needs
- Maintain accurate logs and manage office supplies
- Provide occasional technical support for customers
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of customer service, medical office, or equipment experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology or billing is a plus
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
