Job Description
Contracts and Compliance Manager
- Location: Tysons, VA
- Industry: DOD
- Salary: $125,000 and up based on Experience
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
- Advises the Director of Contracts Administration on Government contracts and compliance issues
- Ensures compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), other Agency FAR Supplements, and relevant flow down requirements from federal, state and local Government funded contracts
- Assists in the administration and maintenance of compliance and Government contract compliance systems and controls, including but not limited to; written standards, policies and procedures, monitoring, and education and training
- Primary contact for Government Contracting Officers, Contracting Specialists and Contracting Officers Representatives (CORs)
- Assists with Government contract compliance submissions and certifications, including; Representations and Certifications, and Small Business Subcontracting Plans and Reports, Cost or Pricing Data, Data other than Cost or Pricing Data, and other required submissions and certifications
- Assists with the development of negotiation strategy and assistance with complex contractual issues
- Administers contract terms, conditions and flow downs
- Monitors contract reporting and deliverable requirements
- Monitors/coordinates contract funding
- Leads negotiations
- Processes subcontract awards and modifications
- Applies appropriate subcontract terms, conditions and flow downs
- Monitors subcontract reporting and deliverable requirements
- Monitors/coordinated subcontract funding
- Bachelor s Degree or certificate in Contract Management or other formal education related to law, gov t contracting or corporate compliance preferred.
- Must be familiar with FAR, DFARS and other Agency FAR Supplements, CAS, DCAA CAM and other related Government cost accounting regulations and publications
- 5 years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination for education and experience
