Title: Credit Analyst
Pay Rate: $37.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Type: Temporary to Permanent (for the right candidate)

POSITION SUMMARY
MGR is seeking a skilled credit analyst with a strong background in credit analysis. The ideal candidate should have experience working for a distributor or wholesaler and be proficient in assessing creditworthiness using platforms like D&B, Experian, or Creditsafe. This role involves reviewing and approving credit limits, releasing orders, handling credit limit increase requests, and potentially working with credit insurance. A college degree is a mandatory requirement for this position.
ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
The senior credit analyst is responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of current and potential customers. This involves requesting, collecting, and analyzing information to support credit limit decisions. Additionally, the analyst will assist with order release and engage with customers to ensure timely payment for released orders. The role also includes processing credit applications, setting up new customer accounts, and ensuring accurate setup of affiliated accounts. The senior credit analyst will provide credit recommendations to management when credit limit requirements exceed the delegation of authority.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education/Certification/Experience:
Bachelor s degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of credit underwriting experience in a business-to-business environment
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Proficient in Financial Statement Analysis (Balance Sheet/Income Statement/Cash Flow Statement)
Strong grasp of Risk Metrics and Financial Ratios
Familiarity with Securitization Documents (UCCs/Letters of Credit/Notes)
Knowledge of JDE/SAP and AS400 (preferred)
Experience with credit reporting agencies such as D&B and Thomson Reuters
Active participation in industry groups like NACM/CRF/CMA
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to collaborate in a team/cross-functional environment
Demonstrated effective customer service skills
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional domestic travel may be required to support business needs.
