Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and audit IT security policies, procedures, and documentation to meet rigorous DoD standards.
- Perform comprehensive security monitoring, risk mitigation, and threat analysis from cloud security to incident response.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure systems handling classified information are secure and up to date.
- Advise project managers and engineering teams on security best practices throughout the lifecycle of new and existing systems.
- Act as a critical member of the Incident Response Team, addressing security threats and implementing effective remediation.
- Design, build, and maintain secure cloud environments across multiple providers, staying ahead of evolving threats.
- Bachelor s degree highly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive cyber security experience
- 3+ years of Splunk Administration experience
- Deep knowledge of security components (topology, switches, routers, firewalls)
- Practical experience with threat analysis, mitigation, and investigation
- DoD 8570 Certification highly desired
- Must be eligible for DoD Personnel Security Clearance and special access requirements
