Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
- Lead and manage the quality control team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-performance standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor product quality and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze quality metrics and data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process enhancements.
- Ensure timely reporting of quality issues and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in a Science related field; Master s degree preferred.
- Must have GMP and FDA experience. Experience in Nutraceutical/ Pharmaceutical is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in quality control roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
