Title: Director of Quality Control
Location: Tampa Bay Area, FL

Shift: Mon- Fri (7am- 4pm)
Salary: 95K and up depending on experience

Position Overview:
The Director of Quality Control will oversee all aspects of quality control within the organization. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet regulatory standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead a team in fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
  • Lead and manage the quality control team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-performance standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor product quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze quality metrics and data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Ensure timely reporting of quality issues and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management.
  • Foster a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in a Science related field; Master s degree preferred.
  • Must have GMP and FDA experience. Experience in Nutraceutical/ Pharmaceutical is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality control roles, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
