Electrical Cable Fabricator
Salary: $25/hr.
Location: Fort Worth, TX (fully on site)
Industry: Government/Defense
Employment Type: Long term contract with potential for permanent employment
Clearance: Ability to obtain
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Cable Fabrication required
- Soldering experience preferred
- Some climbing on ladders may be required as well as lifting up to 25 pounds, pushing and pulling of electronic equipment on carts, and working on test stations.
- Looking for technicians that are: Motivated, can follow directions, accomplish work in a timely manner, work effectively on a team, has great attention to detail, dependable, and willing to learn
Responsibilities:
- This position is for an Entry Level to Mid Level Technician whose primary assignment will consist of engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing and basic laboratory operations responsibility.
- These responsibilities will include fabrication of harnesses, electronic/electrical chassis and subassembly panels, mechanical rack fabrication, and various modifications to mechanical racks and electronic test stations using development engineering drawings.
- Ability to visualize and build electronic racks with minimal defects and little to no supervision.
- Candidate must be capable of working independently and in a team environment and discussing technical issues with Build Lead.
