Electrical Engineer
Salary: $33-$41/hr
Location: Twinsburg, OH

Employment Type: Long term, 12 month Contract
Overview: The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for technical assignments to support production, research, development, design, test and other engineering activities related to electronic designs for use in various aircraft categories. In addition, the role will involve engineering support to resolve field issues that may be design related or otherwise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in electronics design, manufacturing, and assembly in a regulated industry
- Experience in a production environment preferred
- Soldering certification to J-STD or equivalent preferred
- Experience with analog and digital circuits including op-amps, comparators, discrete devices, ADCs, and power switching circuits
- Experience and hands-on capability with troubleshooting and solving technical problems related to circuit and system failures
- Hands-on experience with typical electrical test and measurement equipment
- Self-motivated with ability to demonstrate analytical problem solving to drive technical investigations to closure
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while performing multiple tasks
- Proficiency in a schematic capture program such as Cadence OrCAD
- Proficiency in a circuit simulation program such as pSpice
Responsibilities:
- Provide production technical support and develop resolution of issues on the production line
- Perform product troubleshooting and lab testing for both new designs and in-service products
- Prepare, review, and approve documentation, work instructions, test procedures, etc.
- Monitor troubleshooting trends on product lines and use of first pass yield data to direct design related improvements to product lines
- Participate in testing reviews internally with peers
- Perform repairs on circuit card and wiring assemblies
- Assist in the performance of analog and digital troubleshooting, circuit analysis, and simulation
- Travel requirements: Occasionally be required to travel, both domestically in the United States and internationally (< 5%)
- Adhere to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture
- Evening and/or weekend hours may occasionally be required
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
- Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
- Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 40lbs. May involve long periods of sitting. May require prolonged repetitive use of upper extremities.
