Field Test Technician
Salary: $25.38/hr.
Location: White Sands Missile Range, NM (fully on-site)
Shift: 4/10 - 1st shift, 6am-4:45pm
Industry: Government/Defense
Employment Type: Long-term contract with potential for permanent employment
Clearance: Ability to obtain
Summary: This Technician Field position located on site at the White Sands Missile Range, NM will be supporting all products produced by the client including PAC3, THAAD, LGTR, Hellfire, and HIMAR missiles.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and minimum of 1+ year of relative work experience as a technician with previous hands on experience.
- Previous experience with Mechanical Assembly in Aerospace systems.
- Previous experience with Electrical Test Equipment.
- Experience working with Standard Procedures.
- Experience with Critical Test Equipment (Mechanical or Electrical).
- Experience with Explosives a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
- Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem(s) in minimum time.
- Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
- Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
- May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
