We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving financial analysis, managing costs, and overseeing budget control across departmental spending. Working closely with key stakeholders, you ll provide valuable financial insights, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of financial processes and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reports highlighting key trends, cost drivers, and areas of concern, and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Budget & Forecast Management: Support the development of annual budgets and forecasts for General & Administrative (G&A) and compensation areas, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams for accuracy and consistency.
  • Budget vs. Actual Reviews: Facilitate month-end meetings with department heads to review budget vs. actual spending, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Cost Management & Forecasting: Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and spending patterns; collaborate with teams to manage costs against budget and adjust future period forecasts as necessary.
  • Financial Modeling & Scenario Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation; conduct scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of proposed changes.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial reporting and analysis processes, focusing on automation and efficiency to enhance accuracy.
  • Quality Control & Data Accuracy: Perform quality control to ensure financial data and reports are accurate, consistent, and reliable.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with key stakeholders across various departments, ensuring alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Provide on-demand financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and deliver solutions to business challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. Experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Software Knowledge: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite) and financial reporting tools (e.g., Phocas, Power BI, Databricks SQL).
  • Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Prior experience in facilitating cross-functional projects and presenting financial insights to leadership.
