Location: Port Orange, FL 32128

Schedule: Monday Thursday, 6:00am 4:30pm; Friday, 6:00am 3:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Apply mechanical knowledge to complete both routine and complex assembly tasks
  • Use power and hand tools to build and repair electro-mechanical components
  • Follow moderate to complex drawings and work instructions for sub and high-level builds
  • Perform troubleshooting on electro-mechanical systems, collaborating with internal teams for root cause and corrective action
  • Perform soldering, crimping, wiring, and cable assembly according to standards
  • Validate product performance and quality using specialized test equipment
  • Support a continuous improvement culture through Lean initiatives
  • Build 1st article assemblies to IPC standards and best practices
  • Achieve and maintain IPC certifications (J-STD-001 and 620)
  • Assist in peer training and skill development for junior assemblers
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and manual work
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs unassisted and occasionally up to 100lbs with assistance
  • Regular use of hands and arms to manipulate tools and components
  • Visual acuity for close work, color recognition, and depth perception
  • May work around electrical components, hazardous materials, and varying noise levels
  • Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled environment, with occasional exposure to warehouse settings
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow detailed technical drawings and work instructions
  • Competence with hand tools and basic electronics assembly tools (e.g., torque wrenches, ESD systems)
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical rework skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet production and attendance expectations
