Job Description
Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Belen, NM (Onsite)
Industry: Pharmaceutical (GMP environment)
Pay Rate: $45/hr and up depending on experience
Shift: Mon Fri 7:30am-3:30pm
Employment Type: 6-month contract with potential for a perm placement

A dynamic pharmaceutical technology company that empowers its employees with responsibility and offers a supportive and highly progressive work environment. This company is a contractor development manufacturing organization environment that is fast-paced and mainly focuses on oral solid dosage.
Position Overview:
The Human Resources Manager is a key member of the HR team and focuses on building relationships and provides exceptional HR support to the company. Areas of focus will include employee relations, performance management, recruiting, onboarding, and learning & development. This role is responsible for advancing the company s employee value proposition through compensation analysis, HR metrics and other critical initiatives.
This role will work in a team and on their own to support the company s policies, programs, and strategic objectives for the site and HR Department.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a business partner to the client for all aspects of Human Resources.
- Ensure goal setting and performance for all employees is completed and tracked.
- Oversee development and succession planning.
- Provide support for talent management process.
- Partner with business units to maintain cohesiveness as it pertains to employee relations.
- Attend weekly departmental meetings, liaise with team leaders, supervisors, and managers on a weekly basis, and be responsive with advice on coaching, counseling, investigations, disciplines, and terminations.
- Manage onboarding activities to provide an excellent candidate experience, while supporting the site with quality talent.
- Partner with recruiting team to ensure culture and job fit for all level positions within scope of responsibility.
- Partner with HRIS Specialist with compiling site HR metrics and people-related analysis of available data.
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to increase the efficiency of departments and services performed (LEAN thinking).
- Maintain current and compliant on HR Employment laws and regulations.
- Identify ways to increase quality of the company s employee experience.
- Provide monthly KPI's as per Global HR policies and action plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor s degree in human resources or related field required.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in Spanish and English required.
- Minimum five years of progressive HR experience, with employee relations, performance management & employee development experience in a manufacturing/logistics/distribution environment required.
- Minimum of two years of HR Leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience achieving results through collaboration, influence skills, and organizational and change management skills.
- Experience with development activities (upskilling, reskilling).
- Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Oracle HRMS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in Spanish and English required.
- Ability to coach, lead, and partner with employees across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple competing deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.
- Proficient with MS Office 365 applications.
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
- Experience with Global teams & Multicultural organizations.
- This role operates in Belen, NM in a professional office environment onsite at the manufacturing facility and is required to be onsite 5 days/week.
- Working remotely from a home office will be facilitated when applicable and is at the manager s discretion.
- Travel: up to 10% annual travel may be required.
