Position Overview:
The aim of the ISO Quality Management Specialist is to have in place the policies and procedures that allow for repeatable results. The ISO Quality Management Specialist monitors the established processes and procedures and issues corrective actions for any deviation from the standard.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and enhancement of policies and procedures which support the organization s quality initiatives (CMMI and ISO).
  • Support process owners in new process development and enhancement activities.
  • Conduct independent reviews of documented policies and procedures against defined requirements.
  • Develop and execute plans for annual and periodic internal and external ISO/CMMI assessments and audits.
  • Ensure policies and procedures comply to the applicable federal and regulatory requirements, and to CMMI for Services V2.0 and ISO 9001:2015.
  • Monitor compliance to processes and procedures and issue corrective actions for any deviations.
  • Work with external consultants(s) and auditor(s) as needed to prepare for and support audits.
  • Administer the Process Change Control procedure
  • Report and present results of internal and external evaluations and audits to management team.
  • Gather, use, and independently analyze metrics data in support of the quality management system.
  • Track and escalate non-compliance issues and correct action plans to closure.
  • Provide new employee awareness training on ISO and CMMI requirements and company quality policy.
  • Advocate continual process improvement and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Plan and facilitate the organization s process team meetings.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Certifications in ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI for Services, V2.0
  • Expertise in process improvement models and methodologies
  • Minimum of three years of experience assisting an organization in achieving and maintaining CMMI/ISO
  • Five to seven years of hands-on experience implementing CMMI for Services, Level 3 and ISO 9001:2015 requirements
  • Experience defining, collecting, analyzing, and reporting metrics data and providing suggestions for improvement
  • Knowledge of federal and regulatory requirements governing quality management systems
  • Ability to work on a team as well as work independently on assigned projects
  • Experience administering a corrective action process
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, and Teams
  • High proficiency in developing/documenting processes & procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience developing process documentation and using standards and templates
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Working knowledge applying configuration management and documentation control standards and conventions
  • Knowledge of QA terms, tools, and methodologies
