IT Help Desk Technician

Essential Functions:
  • Provide on-site IT support to the client office in a prompt and professional manner, answering user support questions, initializing incident investigation, and resolving IT problems
  • Manage IT assets for all employee equipment, including onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Consistently ensure all office equipment such as printers, AV equipment, and Neat Rooms are working as intended
  • Log, document, and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 incidents and service requests within targeted SLAs
  • Collaboratively work with other IT team members to accomplish goals
  • Aid and training for employees in utilizing end user devices and software, including new employee training
Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related life science field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role supporting IT hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Experience supporting office networks with the ability to troubleshoot performance issues and security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with cloud-based software platforms such as Office 365 and ERP.
  • A first-class level of customer service ensuring all customers are treated efficiently and appropriately.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze technical issues.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and thorough to properly support our regulated environment.
  • Experience with manufacturing technology/automation (e.g., bar code reading, operating machine integration, label printing) a plus.
