Title: IT Help Desk Technician

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm (Flexible Schedule)
Pay Rate: $26-28/hr. depending on experience

Job Summary: As the IT Help Desk Technician, you will provide 1st level technical support for determining, resolving, or escalating technical problems. An excellent Help desk technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. Engaging with employees throughout the company, you will immediately impact the efficiency of our operations and overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation performance.
- Monitor helpdesk system as level-one support and respond quickly as needed.
- Build computers; Laptops, desktops
- Maintain computer systems and act as support if any system goes down
- Scanners and copiers basic knowledge
- Install, configure, and upgrade PC software
- Other essential or non-essential duties may be assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Two years of experience in IT
- Deep knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools
- Ability to deploy, configure and support operating systems on desktop, laptop, and mobile
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of company information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate with and lead technical and non-technical people at all levels of an organization, in various functions in stressful situations
