Salary: $150,000 and up based on experience



Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Program Manager Site Lead with a strong background in ISP/OSP, Net+, CCNA, CISSP, and C++ to lead and manage critical IT infrastructure projects. This individual will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), liaising directly with customers to deliver innovative solutions in the areas of network architecture, security, and overall IT project execution. As the Site Lead, you will be responsible for directing cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and maintaining customer satisfaction through expert insights and proactive problem-solving.


  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Program Management:
      • Lead, plan, and execute IT programs and projects on-site, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.
      • Develop project plans, allocate resources, manage budgets, and establish timelines.
      • Ensure program compliance with technical standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
      • Oversee risk management and mitigation strategies to address potential issues proactively.
    • Customer Relations:
      • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and providing regular updates on program status.
      • Deliver expert insights on network and security best practices, translating technical requirements into clear solutions for stakeholders.
      • Foster strong client relationships through excellent communication, timely responses, and consistent alignment with client goals.
    • Technical Expertise and Solutions Design:
      • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in ISP/OSP infrastructure, network engineering, cybersecurity (CISSP), and programming (C++) to ensure high-quality project execution.
      • Design, implement, and manage network solutions, including both internal service provider (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) environments.
      • Troubleshoot network issues, conduct security assessments, and oversee configuration and integration of networking systems.
    • Team Leadership and Development:
      • Lead cross-functional technical teams, mentoring team members to ensure technical proficiency and high performance.
      • Facilitate training, knowledge sharing, and professional development for team members to build expertise in network and cybersecurity domains.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess team performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT program management or IT infrastructure projects, with a focus on customer-facing roles.
  • Strong technical expertise in:
    • ISP/OSP infrastructure design and management.
    • Networking certifications: Net+ and CCNA (or equivalent experience).
    • Security certification: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or similar.
    • Programming proficiency in C++ for applications in network solutions and security automation.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery, customer satisfaction, and risk management.

Preferred:

  • Master s degree in a related field.
  • Additional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or advanced network/security credentials.
  • Experience working with government or large enterprise clients.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, network architectures, and security protocols.

Working Conditions:

  • On-site presence is required; occasional travel to client locations may be needed.
  • Customer-facing: Ability to manage multiple customer expectations and adapt to varying customer environments.
