Incoming Inspector

Salary: $21-$23.50/hour
Employment Type: Contract to Perm
Clearance: Ability to obtain
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Mathematical Skills- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10 s and 100 s.
- Reasoning Ability - ability to define problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions
- ESD Certification/working knowledge - must also know how to read blueprints/technical schematics
- Ability to obtain a forklift operations license
- Minimum of 2-3 years first hand experience in a decision making role for First Article inspection is REQUIRED
Preferred Skills:
- GD&T knowledge/experience
- NDT knowledge/experience
Responsibilities:
- Select from a variety of standard methods to inspect purchased items, printed circuit boards, and cables.
- Examine raw materials for conformance to stands, and manufactured items for defects and for conformance to specifications.
- Determine whether documentation or product is defective
- Initiate contact with engineering on more difficult problems
- Initiate contact with buyers on purchase order related issues
- Maintain quality control records
- Recommend changes to quality methods and procedures
- Suggest appropriate corrective action.
- Able to be cross trained in Receiving, Stockroom, and Shipping
