Salary: $25.91/hr.

Location: Archbald, PA (fully on site)

Industry: Government/Defense

Employment Type: Long term contract with potential for permanent employment

Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret

Shift: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday = 3-day weekend!

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Receiving Inspector to join our client's team. Aerospace industry related experience with inspection of parts is essential. Proficiency with inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines, is a plus. If you are detail-oriented and have a passion for quality assurance, we encourage you to apply!

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of true inspection of parts in a related industry (defense, manufacturing, aviation, aerospace, etc.)
• Experience with inspection tools (Calipers, Micrometers, CMM-Coordinated measuring machine, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Performs manual and clerical duties involved in receiving materials, supplies and equipment.
• Utilizes computers to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database.
• Within prescribed limits unpacks and examines items received and verifies completeness against bills of lading, invoices, and other records.
• Keeps records of goods received, rejects damaged, excess, or misdirected goods and processes necessary paperwork to notify appropriate purchasing, material, vendor, and other concerned organizational personnel.
• Routes materials to inspection, stores, or other destinations; and may operate mobile equipment used to move materials.
• Answers inquiries concerning status of rejected or other goods.
