Installation Supervisor

Location: Odessa, FL (up to 80% travel)

Salary: $65K - $90k

Travel: US, Canada, Latin America

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of systems involving solids and small particle handling equipment, including dust abatement equipment, belt and screw conveyors, vibrating screen separators, compounders, mixing systems, cyclones, filters, rotary valves, feeders, scales, and bagging/packaging equipment.
  • Conducted system commissioning and start-up, assisted programmers during integration phases, provided client training, and troubleshot and repaired both component-level and full system issues.
  • Performed instrument installation and calibration to ensure accurate performance and compliance with specifications.
  • Adjusted, aligned, and calibrated machinery and equipment to meet optimal operational standards.
  • Assessed, diagnosed, and resolved equipment performance issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Performed rigging and lifting of components and machinery using shop cranes and forklifts in a safe and effective manner.
  • Maintained detailed written records and operational logs in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Traveled extensively to provide on-site field service, technical support, and troubleshooting for client systems.


Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience as an Installation Supervisor or similar position.
  • Ability to interpret and apply written and numerical information from electrical and mechanical plans, blueprints, schematics, sketches and ability to read pneumatic and electric diagrams, PI&D s.
  • Ability to read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures or dusty and noisy conditions while wearing safety equipment.
  • Position requires frequent standing and walking with occasional need to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, including standing or walking for 2-3 hours at a time for 10 hours.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Must possess the ability to work effectively with others as a team player.
  • Must demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills to interface with clients and vendors.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Independent self-starter, possessing the ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to travel within USA, Canada and Latin America.
  • Ability to obtain a passport.
  • Valid driver s License.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals and associated welding principles / procedures with experience in fabrications using both aluminum and stainless steel.
  • Ability to operate forklift (experience a plus, training is available).
  • Experience in electrical trades, such as panel wiring.
  • Ability to review PLC code for troubleshooting.
  • Ability to train clients in the use of our PLC & PRISMA control systems.
  • Work experience specifically related to
    • Pneumatic conveying systems
    • Solids & small particle handling equipment
    • Dust abatement equipment
    • Belt & screw conveyors
    • Vibrating screen separators
