Inventory Management Technician
Salary: $18-$20/hr

Overview:
The inventory management technician is responsible for the asset lifecycle of IT assets. This position requires the ability to image and prepare PC systems for end users with a priority on new hires. This role also requires the ability to package, and ship assets to their final destination. Other responsibilities include data sanitization and physical sanitization of IT assets. The inventory associate will need to keep the asset inventory records up to date by performing a number of functions in the current asset management application. Associate is responsible for data entry of all warehouse paperwork, receiving documentation, issues, asset transfers, shipping documents and cycle count adjustments. Additionally, the associate may perform daily cycle counts on items in the warehouse, comparing the physical counts to the computer counts and performing an analysis on any discrepancies found
Requirements:
- HS Diploma with 2-4 years of warehouse experience
- 1+ year of inventory analysis and cycle counting experience
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Warehouse Management Software experience, and Shipping and Transportation experience required
- Experience with Microfocus (HP) Asset Manager software highly desired
- Ability to work well under pressure, team player, and attention to details
- Microsoft Certified Professional Certification highly desired
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to identify, analyze and resolve common technical issues, questions and problems with standard workstation, hardware and software configurations.
Duties:
- Provides in-person or remote technical support for the installation, repair and preventive maintenance of personal computers, individual workstations and related software and hardware.
- Responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are followed for hardware sanitization and disposal.
- Responsible to oversee depot assets are accounted for and in a secure environment.
- Provides regular support in modifying, upgrading or enhancing existing standard hardware.
- Assures that all activities are documented and reported according to Parsons and IS standards.
- Maintains a good general knowledge of the IS environment and the technologies associated with individual computers, workstations, software and associated hardware.
- Performs the regular activities required to set up standard personal computing hardware.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position that may be appropriate.
