Salary: 100K and up depending on experience
Bonus: 7.5% based on performance/company results

Job Summary: We are looking to add a Laboratory Manager to our amazing teams in our facilities in Storrs, Willimantic, and Preston CT. This is a unique opportunity to work with cross functional teams and help build a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous process improvement.
  • Drive a culture of cross collaboration and high-quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain to align on production schedules and ensure accurate monthly production forecasts.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and development to the team.
  • Ensure the team is meeting the specifications of our regulatory bodies.
  • Participate in strategic planning for the department.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting is completed for inventory, labor, and production.
  • Ensure all appropriate SOPs, training, documentations are current and accurate for the department.

  • BA/BS degree in science, biological science preferred and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing change, creating a culture of accountability, safety, and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience managing individual contributors and supervisors, including performance management and development.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments like the FDA.
  • Experience and a desire to work in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment.
